Abi is 21 and started singing and dancing at the age of 5, soon developing a strong voice and becoming very active within local Performing Arts institutions. She has been performing in various productions with various different companies since 2005. She is currently studying A-Levels Level 3 in Music and Performing Arts at the Folkestone Academy, Kent.

Since the age of 8, she has been a devoted piano player, currently at Grade 6 and is scheduled to take her Grade 7 soon. She passed with Distinction in Piano Grade One, Merit in Piano Grade Two, Merit in Piano Grade Three, Merit in Piano Grade Four, Pass in Piano Grade Five and Distinction in Piano Grade 6.

Abi has always loved being involved with music and performing arts. She has been involved with her school productions at St Edmunds Catholic School in Dover such as ‘Disco Inferno’, ‘Pirates of Penzance’, ‘The Demon Headmaster’, ‘We Will Rock You’, ‘Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream coat’ & ‘The Wedding Singer’ where she played many of the main characters. Kate from ‘Pirates of Penzance’, Dinah from ‘The Demon Headmaster’, Scaramouche from ‘We Will Rock You’, The Narrator from ‘Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream coat’ & Linda from ‘The Wedding Singer’. She has performed with her school on a DFDS ship, together with Reggie Tsiboe (lead singer from Boney M). This was a flash mob for the Queen of Holland‘s birthday that was later shown on the big screen in Trafalgar square. It was then put on YouTube with over 9,000 views to date.

Primarily, at the age of 11 Abi joined the Blackfish Academy of Performing Arts and has appeared in several productions with them Such as ‘The Jungle Book’, ‘Pinocchio’, ‘Aladdin’, ‘The Wedding Singer’, ‘Cinderella’, ‘Runaways’, ‘Dracula’, ‘The Full Monty’ & ‘Jack & the Beanstalk’. Over the last 4 years, she has been given various different high profile roles that demanded confidence, desire and dedication. Baloo from ‘The Jungle Book’ The Cricket from ‘Pinocchio’ understudied Lucy in ‘Dracula’, Vikki from ‘The full Monty’ &‘Sarah’ from the musical ‘Our House’.

Abi has performed in several countries including Hungary as part of a school music trip and Gibraltar with her sister who is a local singer/songwriter. Last year she supported and sang with several top UK acts within the music industry including, The Webb Sisters, Richard Digance, Jon Allen, Alvin Stardust, Chas Hodges (Chas and Dave), Dodgey, Sharron Shannon and the upcoming artist Ben Montague with her sister and older brother who have recently teamed up together to collaborate as a family band named ‘Orfila’. 2013 saw them supporting various artists such as Beverley Craven, Albert Hammond and many more. Many people have requested some of their original songs that they have been offered a deal to record some of their own material.

Her recent experience was performing and being involved in west end workshops held by Nancy Sullivan who was Éponine in the musical ‘Les Misérables’, and been taught by Rachel Tucker who competed as one of the finalists in the BBC talent show-themed television series ‘I’d Do Anything’ in 2008, also starred as the lead role of Elphaba in the hit musical ‘Wicked’. She has also performed on the West End stage with the cast of Jersey Boys, as part of a master class workshop in 2009. She has also appeared on TV this January for a competition called ‘Britain Does Variety’ grand finals.

Abi has also performed in Trafalgar square in front of over 20,000 people including Guildford High Street, working with highly professional people such as Ashley Herman, the director, who is the chairman of governors at GSA (Guildford School of Acting) in Surrey.
